Why Kidd?


Owner/Operator Nathan Kidd was born and raised locally and has the experience and skills to get your job done right the first time, as efficiently as possible. With over 7 years experience as a binder at RR Donnelley, Kidd found his calling as a Machinist for Norfolk Southern. There, he personally returned 4 CNC machines to service and designed a workshop flow so efficient that it saved the company millions a year and GE sent management to examine. Kidd received the Norfolk Southern spirit award for his innovations.

Kidd continues to show mastery in Computer Numerical Control (CNC), CNC Operation, CAD CAM software, CNC programming, CNC setup/make ready, machine tool purchasing, Supervisory Skills, and Inspection.
